Chieftain Irish whistles are designed by the accomplished musician, Phil Hardy. Phil, having learned his Low whistle making craft from Bernard Overton, has been making low whistles for 28 years. From these humble beginnings, Phil creations, the Kerry whistles are now used by  beginners and professionals worldwide

Chieftain Whistles are hand- made in the UK and  constructed from either solid aluminium or aluminium with a plastic fipple, and and are available in a variety of keys in both tuneable and non-tuneable models.
